I've been here for 2 1/2 months and so far so good! Like with any start-up there are kinks to work out. It's nice to be a part of building something and helping improve processes.

Literally a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist. If you don’t actively manage the practice and rely on others to ensure that it is being managed w/o providing some substantial cost savings that one could not already get from some intelligent account management, vendor min/maxing, and buying group utilization YOUR SERVICE IS A WASTE OF EVERYONES MONEY AND TIME! And, you alienate and upset established staff. I honestly don’t know how they sell practices on their services. Finally, the people who actually do work for Lumina are mostly ignorant of Eyecare operations. ZERO STARS!

Terrible company to work for! You know it's not good when the District Manager asks you to monitor/spy on the practice manager to gather enough information to fire them. I was told by the DM "I need your help" so I comply. After several weeks of monitoring the PM the only employee that didn't file a formal complaint with Corporate/DM against the PM goes ahead and lets her know I am monitoring her behavior, arrivals and departures. And I am reporting back to the DM nightly. Now, as the DM put it, "you are now in the cross hairs of her wrath" As one could expect. Funny thing is all of this could have been avoided and handled professionally but the DM was talking loudly at the corporate office and a subcontractor was there overheard and ran directly to the PM to let her know of the 4 complaints against her by employees at practice. After that screw up by the DM she orders nobody to talk about the "Amber thing anymore". She did it all on her own. I was just collateral damage to save her own self.
