Scheduling via telephone for annual appointments is a nightmare. Spent 20minutes just waiting for someone to pick up the phone and then it took over an hour on the phone trying to schedule my 3 kids. On the day of my youngest son's initial appointment we had a 745 time slot. We checked in on time and still waited 40minutes to be seen. Patients with 8 and 815 time slots were being taken back and seen before us. However, the doctor is truly amazing. She takes her time, is thorough and very informative. She is wonderful with the kids as well.

My 7yr. Old daughter was terrified of dilation. (She had this done before at another place not related to this business) She teared up as we were getting ready to leave the house. But once we arrived at the office the staff was so friendly and Dr. Makoshi was very patient and had empathy with my daughters concerns. My daughter did the dialation process and we got through our initial appointment. Now it was time for a follow up and my daughter was not afraid as a matter of fact she was excited about coming to the office and seeing Dr.Makoshi And staff again. Great job everyone. I asked her what was her favorite part of the visit ? She answered “ when they fixed her glasses and she got a prize from the prize box”. 🙂

I truly appreciate all she and her staff have done for my little one. Such care and patience and she takes the time to explain everything she's doing and makes sure my daughter is comfortable. I 100% recommend ABC eye specialist especially Dr. Makoshi.

2nd time taking my child here, staff are great with kids and wear masks appropriately, office appeared clean and check in was easy, taken back after dilation within 20 min. Doctor Makoshi was informative and professional as was the medical student. Only negative is I wish they would dim the lights in the waiting area while these kids have their eyes dilated, it's very bright, we learned the first time to bring our own sunglasses to help with that but I know not all kids will tolerate wearing them. Overall happy with this office and will continue to take my child here.

We really like Dr. Makoshi, she adapts very easily with kids and is willing to work on slow healing rather than pushing for any surgery. The only reason we'd give four stars is the wait time for every appointment, we can be early for a morning appointment and still end up waiting for two hours.
