Lenora Bolton Treacy1 StarI’d post zero stars if I could. The technician today was very unprofessional. The disparaging remarks about the equipment/technology in this office being old and out of date did not inspire confidence in me. It was so bad I was tempted to leave mid appointment. Her attitude was unfriendly and I did not feel well cared for. She didn’t seem to have familiarized herself with my previous visits at all. Dr. Elliot Janousek may be an alright doctor, but I’m not left with a feeling of confidence in the attention to detail/thoroughness of the new team as a whole. He stated my vision test today indicated nothing had changed. A vision test was not performed. When I mentioned this, he quickly did one. Again, the experience was cold and abrupt. All I can say is the changes that have taken place during the transition from Dr Rose to this new group of owners have not been for the best. I won’t be returning.Thursday 1st February 2024
Denise and Jeff Gunn1 StarMy husband and I both went to Dr Janousek for a glasses prescription. We had the glasses made and they were both very wrong. We went back to his office to get checked again but since I was 2 days past the 90 day window they charged us again for the refraction. Dr Janousek ended up copying the prescription my husband had from 2 years ago because he could not get a new prescription that would work for him. My husband went to another Optomitrist that afternoon and was able to get a prescription that works amazingly for him. Dr Janousek got both our prescriptions wrong, had no compassion for us missing the 90 day cut off because we were out of town for a family members funeral, and the office customer service was very poor. I would not recommend going to Dr Janousek for any eye care.Thursday 28th July 2022
