My experience with Dr. Becken and the staff at Becken Vision Solutions was great, and couldn’t have been better. The story of my visit will explain why. I got a referral from my PCP to another eye care provider. I called them wanting to confirm that they accepted my insurance. After I gave the info from my Cigna card, they could not confirm that I was covered and suggested I call Cigna. I did, but got ambiguous responses. I had dealt with the vision center at Walmart before, so I asked if Walmart's eye services were covered. The Cigna rep said yes and called Becken Vision Solutions at Walmart for me. Mikayla at Becken Vision Solutions answered the phone. I said I wanted to confirm insurance coverage before going any further. She said they didn’t deal directly with Cigna, but said I might be covered through an intermediary. She asked if I knew what it was. I said no. Mikayla said OK, no problem. She read off the list of insurance companies. After she mentioned EyeMed, I said I thought that might be it. She said OK, she would check it. A few seconds later she said yes I was covered by Eyemed. I made an appointment to see Dr. Becken on Wednesday. I arrived early to do the paperwork (which I could have done via their site online). Mikayla did some vision testing, preparing me for my visit with Dr. Becken. I was very impressed with her in person as I had been over the phone on Tuesday. She is exceptionally bright, quick, and pleasant. I enjoyed my interaction with her. She would be an asset to any organization. Dr. Becken was pleasant, professional, and efficient. Upon completion of his procedures, he wrote a prescription for my glasses. He then asked me other eye-related questions and offered suggestions to improve my eye health. A lady in the front area helped me select frames and completed the transactions. My entire visit was pleasant and satisfying.

Just had an eye exam at Becken Vision Solutions in WalMart. I had very little wait time, the Dr & staff were very friendly. They also have a nice selection of reasonably priced glasses. I would recommend this vision center if you are in need of an exam or new glasses.

I never have to wait once there. Dr is very thorough and exam is done quickly. The other Optical staff are equally helpful when it is time to purchase either contacts or glasses. Always a positive experience.

The new doctor is a clock-watcher! He is more concerned about leaving then giving great one-on-one customer service even down to the last appointment. I got eye drops for dilation and maybe 3 or 5 minutes later he did the exam. I could tell my eyes were not ready. I get it done every year for the past 5 years. The doctor is nice and did a good job. The staff is friendly and maybe it was because I was the last appointment for the day.

Dr. Becken is awesome! My husband and I have been patients of his for 6-7 years. He recently squeezed me in when I accidently scratched one of my eyes. It was the quickest Doctors appointments I have ever enjoyed. In and out, and some eye drops to help my eye. He is the best!!
