Dr. Mindy Hagstrom was raised in a small town in rural North Dakota. She attended Valley City State University, earning an undergraduate degree in chemistry and biology before graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2009. Dr. Hagstrom has completed internships in ocular disease and contact lenses at Northwest Eye Clinic in Minneapolis, MN, Hot Springs VA Hospital in Rapid City, SD, and Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center in Mesa, AZ. She enjoys going for walks, reading & spending time with her husband, two children, and their golden retriever, Kaia.

Chad Searls5 StarJust switched to Akers and I cannot tell you how happy I am now. My old eye doctor was slow and always behind schedule. This office not only runs on time but their knowledge of vision insurance and how to properly utilize its benefits is incredible, and I've been in glasses/contacts for over 30yrs.Sunday 13th February 2022
